Kandia, the dark chocolate brand with a flavorful and healthy bitterness due to its unique recipe, was in need of a new visual brand identity that would sustain its positioning and heritage.
Subsequently, the first step was to redesign the brand logo, as to be more visible and impactful. Hence, we decided to discard the red shape that confined the wordmark and occupied an important space in the layout. Moreover, we have chosen a new typeface with a modern appeal.
For the package design, we accentuated the brand positioning by applying a cocoa powder background in which we integrated product shots, as well as the main ingredients for each SKU. Also, for every product category, we adapted the graphic system developed as to respond to the category needs.
The outcome of the project has reinstated Kandia’s visual appeal and enhanced the brand positioning strategy.
