Manifesto - boundless passion

We started our journey in 2004 with the clear idea that branding should be more than just a nice logo or a snappy slogan, that branding is strategy. We adamantly believe that behind each brand there should be a solid vision, a clear roadmap rooted in the client’s strategy, and that a successful brand can only be built with a passion shared by both client and brand consultant.

Over the years, on each project we have worked on, we have given a bit of our knowledge and passion for branding, redefining the boundaries for our clients and thus giving them edge they were looking for.

We have always been faithful to our ideas and honest with our clients, stepping off the beaten track, choosing even to be un-timely right rather than perennially wrong. We have distilled and challenged our clients' strategies, thus jointly crossing the tumults of hypothesis to reach the calmness of certainty.

Founding partners - unparalleled expertise

Beatrice Danis and Janos Kurko established the firm in 2004, after spending almost ten years in the advertising industry.

Prior to BrandTailors' launch, Beatrice had activated in various advertising companies, such as JWThompson, Grafitti/BBDO, GGK, Tempo and McCann Erickson. On her last position before founding BrandTailors, Beatrice worked as Account Director at McCann Erickson. Between 2005 and 2007, Beatrice was awarded several Gold & Silver Effies for notorious projects such as Kandia, Rom or Grania.

Janos co-founded BrandTailors after a successful spell as head of McCann Erickson’s design department. During his advertising career he had been part of multi-awarded team in Ad’Or, Golden Drum & Effie Festivals. His passion and dedication for design paid off in 2007 when Janos became a Visiting Professor at the National University of Arts and Design in Bucharest, where he has given lectures on package design. Janos was also awarded at ReBrand 100 International Festival for projects developed for reputable clients such as GSK, The Coca-Cola Company or Cadbury.
